Martin’s first role post-graduation was in a small textiles manufacturing business, first in sales, then as factory manager. This experience took him into the rail industry as the planner & deputy production manager with a leading role in a pioneering approach to rolling stock design & build. This paved the way for a global role as Manufacturing Systems Director to roll out this model across Bombardier’s sites worldwide.

After successfully switching to a P&l role running Bombardier’s national spares business, Martin then joined a small consultancy before becoming Managing Director of 2 UK subsidiaries of Deutsche Bahn.

Martin started consulting in 2016 & has diversified outside rail to help a range of business owners & executive teams address their businesses challenges. Martin works at the heart of organisations & builds teams to achieve their key objectives.
